?Spiritual victory is not something you earn – it is something you accept. The Christian life is not so much about what you have done – it’s about what Christ has done. It’s not so much about how strong you are – it’s about how strong God is.?

?~ Alan D. Wright, Lover of My Soul: Delighting in God’s Passionate Love

‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.?

~ Jesus, Mark 12:30

To live in intimate relationship with God, Who made it ‘believable’ for us to do so, by taking on a name that we ourselves having names, could relate with. Not as some impersonal ‘Someone’ out there somewhere, somewhere we have never been nor seen…?

To meet the Love of your life, your Beloved, who is so strong and courageous, yet so kind hearted, and generous with all He meets, whose character is one of integrity and deep respect, who treats each person He meets with equal Love and compassion, Whose sense of justice is stirred to anger at the unjust mistreatment of others, Whose tender heart weeps at the loss of a friend, lavish with His tender mercies and kindness given to all who have no way of ever being able to pay Him back, He is naturally good hearted and wonderful with children, the outcasts, the sick, the poor, the aged and the dying, from the rich to the poor, He shares His Love with them all.

How can our hearts not cry out for the longing of being in His presence? Our Beloved. He is strong and stands between us and our opponents?like a shield,?to protect us, He brings us what is for our ultimate best, and so much more, full of surprises He is, and when He is away from our presence, this is when we realize how much we Love Him and miss Him, our heart begins to long for His presence again, and we are not satisfied until we search everywhere to find where He is once again.

And He says, smiling, ‘I haven’t gone anywhere, you never left my thoughts once, you are always in my heart and in my thoughts all day long, I’ve had my eye on you the whole time…’

So loyal, devoted and faithful is He to us, so one sided in so many ways, so?unconditionally loving when I wasn’t thinking about Him at all...

And then He is taken away and we cannot see Him any longer with our physical eyes, we lose sight of our Beloved, and we weep, we long for Him to return to us again. Do we seek to replace Him with another?

Will anyone else ever be able to take His place?

‘As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, O God.’

~ Psalm 42:1

This is not a sexual statement, nor about a sexual union as in physically.

Jesus explained the mystery of our souls’ union with God;

“But Jesus answered and said to them,

?You are mistaken, not understanding the Scriptures nor the power of God.

“For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven.”

~Matthew 22:29-30

It’s marriage in the spiritual sense, a soul’s union with God. Being made complete in being fully furnished with God’s nature, through Christ, the Author and Perfecter of our soul’s faith.

In this life, it is understood in being identified as belonging to God, by taking His name as replacing our own last name in marriage, and being in service to His Kingdom as representatives of belonging to His family. Like a devoted and faithful partner would.

We don’t live like a single person anymore if we are truly married in heart. We have changed our lifestyle and status.

Partnered with Christ in His Holy Spirit indwelling us, living as Christ’s body for now, on earth.

So, He is gone from our sight right now, what now? Do we live in honor of His memory by doing as He did, living by His example and communing with Him unceasingly receiving help by relying on His Spirit translator, His Holy Spirit, as though He is still here? Or do we wax faint, give up, and say ‘Oh, what’s the use anyway? Nothing will bring Him back to me…and we tune out His Spirit…we no longer can sense His breath breathing ours…

He may not physically be here personally right this minute, yet, as He left He promised that He will be coming back and to remind everyone that He is the Lover of our Soul until He returns and to represent Him with others as He showed us how. And to tell everyone we meet that He was willing to give up His life to prove how much He loves our souls…Love is willing to die for the object of its Love and devotion.

He was saying, we are valued so much that He would be willing to die for us.

This is Love in its full measure. Can we do no less for our Beloved?

?Do we know Him well enough to believe that His Word is His law, in that He keeps His word to us and does not lie? It’s a matter of how well we know Him that determines whether we believe He will or not, keep His promise and believe that He Who promised is faithful and true.

He is the Faithful Lover of our Souls, and as God becoming fully a man, who Himself experienced injustice, and mistreatment from the very people He gave His life to, ministering daily to each and everyone He met, He was abandoned before He died, yet, as Love would have it, He broke through the final enemy of mankind. Death. And He rose up to say, ‘Don’t lose heart, look to me, have faith, I have slain death’s oppression over mankind forever, and will do the same for all those who Love me as Life itself is dependent upon having its breath and blood in its body.’ I am the bread of Life and I will sustain you in all ways for all your days.

For nothing can destroy the power of Love’s desire.

The Mystery of God is revealed:

“Then the LORD came down in the cloud and stood there with him and proclaimed His name, the LORD. ?And He passed in front of Moses, proclaiming, “The LORD, the LORD, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness, maintaining love to thousands, and forgiving wickedness, rebellion and sin.” Exodus 34:5-7

This is what made all the mystics of Jesus Christ able to say, from living in intimate communion with Him, by understanding His Perfect nature, and in faith knowing that He did give His all for us in His Love and Compassion, so we could share in His goodness and lovingkindness by drawing near to Him, get back up and walk in the fullness of His Love and Compassion now able to live inside of us if we accept Him fully.

“They will celebrate your abundant goodness and joyfully sing of your righteousness. ?The LORD is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love. ?The LORD is good to all; He has compassion on all He has made.” Psalm 149:7-9

May we live in intimate relationship by allowing Him to take residence within us, inside by filling our spirits being in union with His, with?hearts?that have been circumcised to be able to meet Him in tenderness and with open and welcomed arms, His Heart becoming our hearts now filled with His tenderness towards all others, just as His heart is. We must be as He is, in honoring Him with our lives to be able to experience the intimacy our souls so long to experience and be filled with.

The heart is the essence of life, where our Love life springs from or where our Love life dies from becoming covered over with a calloused skin covering.

We must be tender hearted, like a child to receive our Beloved and to be able to hear Him when He calls our name to come to Him…

My friend, don’t keep Him, who is Love, waiting forever.

Come quickly and be reconciled to the Lover of your Soul, so you can begin

? this day?to?bask in the intimacy of His Love embracing you In His Spirit~

?Many Blessings in recovering your relationship with our Beloved,

Be Well In the Love and Grace of Jesus Christ, Who is the Lover of our soul,

Injoy?~

Julia
